Opening
N Open cliplock
N Twist filler cap (ca. 1/4 turn)
Markings on filler cap and oil tank must
align
N Remove the filler cap
Filling chain oil tank
Take care not to spill chain oil during
refilling and do not overfill the tank.
STIHL recommends use of the STIHL
filling system for chain oil (special
accessory).
N Filling chain oil tank
Closing
Clip is in an upright position:
N Position filler cap – markings on filler
cap and oil tank must align
N Push the filler cap down as far as it
will go
N Hold the filler cap down and twist it
clockwise until it engages
Then the markings on filler cap and oil
tank will align
N Close cliplock
