Step 4:
Insert cotter pin (3) through the bore in the
retaining pin (4).
Fitting the V-belt
● Select cutting level 3.
Press V-belt tensioner lever (5) in the
direction of the arrow (forwards) using a
suitable length of pipe and hold.
Fit V-belt (2) onto V-belt pulley (6).
When fitting, ensure that the V-belt is
installed correctly (not twisted).
● Slowly release V-belt tensioner lever (5)
and ensure that the V-belt is routed
correctly in the V-belt pulley.
● Install the discharge chute. (Ö 14.6)
● Install the grass catcher box. (Ö 12.10)
Installing the rear V-belt cover
● Select the lowest cutting level.
Insert the rear V-belt cover (1) with the
retaining device at the locating lug (2) on
the gearbox (3) in direction of arrow.
Push rear V-belt cover (1) upwards and
hold. Turn the closure screw (2) clockwise
through 90°.
Danger of pinching:
When fitting the V-belt, it must be
ensured that the hands or fingers
do not come between the V-belt
and the V-belt pulleys when
releasing the V-belt tensioner lever.
Risk of injury:
After attaching the mowing deck,
perform an operational check.
Ensure that no other persons,
particularly children or animals are
in the vicinity. Only perform the
operational check when the user is
sitting on the machine.
Danger of burns:
Allow the machine, particularly the
exhaust system to cool down
completely before installing the rear
V-belt cover.
