Risk of explosion due to flammable
gases!
During charging, the lead-acid battery
releases a mixture of oxygen and
hydrogen (oxyhydrogen gas). This
gas mixture is explosive and must not
be ignited.
Make sure that there is always
sufficient ventilation in working
areas that are entirely or partially
enclosed.
Keep away from open flames and
flying sparks.
Do not smoke.
Observe the instructions in the
chapter entitled Safety regulations
when handling the battery.
Radiation
According to the guide-
lines DIN EN 62471:2009-03
(VDE 0837-471:2009-03), the STILL Safety-
Light (variant) is assigned to risk group 2 due
to its photobiological hazard potential.
