SUPPORTING FLOOR OVER UNLOAD SYSTEM
DISCLAIMER: It shall not be the responsibility of Sukup Manufacturing Co. to determine suitable support
system for flooring over unload system. Customer (or customer’s retained engineer or construction
supervisor) is responsible. Consideration should include, but not be limited to, live loads, dead loads and
seismic zone. Sukup Manufacturing Co. will not be responsible for any damage to a product, including,
but not limited to, any damage that results from inadequate or improper support methods and materials.
Bridging kits are available from Sukup Manufacturing Co. to simplify installation of flooring over unload
auger and to improve strength and stability of flooring over it. Bridging can be used with Standard or
Heavy Duty Double Super Supports.
Table 8 shows locations where bridging is needed and shows bridging kits available (P5110 or P5111).
If applicable table in flooring manual (for type of supports used under floor) says supports should be
placed closer than allowed by width of center sump gate and/or unload system, then bridging is needed
to support floor planks at sump and/or along unload auger. It is OK to use a Double Super Support in
place of a SuperWave or Z-Post support to get closer to unload system without interference.

placement of Double Super Supports and bridging for Sweepway.
