2. Basic splicing operation
Install the battery pack (BU-16) into the slot of the TYPE-82C+ as described below.
Turn off the splicer and disconnect the AC adapter from the splicer before installing and
removing the battery pack.

Opening and closing the cover of the battery pack slot
①Insert the tab of the
cover into the slot. Close
the cover.
②Lock the cover securely.

Insert the battery pack straight all
the way in the slot.
Battery pack removal
Open the cover of the slot. Hook your
finger to the projection of the battery
pack, and then slide it out in the di-
rection of the arrow.

unlock the cover.
②Open the cover.
