6. FunctionsSumiCloud™
6. Functions
The TYPE-82C+ can connect to a smartphone via wireless LAN usin
g
a
dedicated wireless LAN SD card (WLSD series) and can be operated with the
smartphone. To establish the connection, smartphone application
“SumiCloud™” is required. Download and install it from “Google Play” or
“Apple” online store.
In “SumiCloud™”, you can utilize various functions as shown in the table in the
next page.
1: Insert the wireless LAN SD card into
the splicer. SD card icon appears on
the top of the screen.
2: Tap the SumiCloud™ icon to edit the
settings.
3: Set “Smartphone Connection” to
“ON” to enable wireless LAN
connection to connect the splicer to
a smartphone via Wireless LAN.
When wireless LAN connection
becomes available, wireless LAN
icon (
) appears on the monitor
screen.
4: Start your smartphone and enter
the password to enable wireless LAN
connection.
Factory default password is
“12345678”.
5: StartSumiCloud™” on the
smartphone.
*If the wireless LAN SD card is not
inserted in the splicer, the function
cannot be enabled.
Network SSID: is the name that
devices can identify an inserted SD card
as.
Password setting: is required to
connect the splicer to devices. Choose
this option to change a password. The
password must be 8-20 alphanumeric
characters long. To validate a new
password, re-boot the splicer.
