5: Select “ATTN Coef.” to edit
the value.
6: Enter the value of ATTN Coef.
If the value is increased, fiber
offset will become large and a
splice loss will be higher. If the
value is decreased, a splice loss
will be lower.
7: Tap Set icon ( ) icon to
perform a splice.
Check an actual splice loss. If the
actual splice loss still does not
match the target splice loss, go
back to step 5~6 to adjust ATTN
Coef again.
* Touch the ATTN icon on the arc
pause screen to go to the setting
screen.

Target Loss Sets the target splice loss for attenuation.

Sets the target core offset value for attenuation.
This parameter will be changed in association with
“Target loss”.

ATTN Coef.
This parameter is the attenuation splice
coefficient. If actual splice loss measured does not
match “Target Loss”, this parameter can be used
to adjust.
