  If you notice oil leaking from the gear cover of your Sumitomo Engine, try tightening the gear cover screws and monitor the unit. If the leakage persists, or if the oil leakage is from the motor flange, the motor shaft sealing, the gear flange, or the output flange seal ring, the sealing may be damaged. Also, ensure the gear is properly vented by checking the oil breather. If the sealing is damaged, contact customer service.
