Information
● Duress code is used to Disarm the system and transmit an emergency signal to your Central
Monitoring Station discreetly to indicate there is a duress situation. This is important if you are
being forced to Disarm your system against your will.
● Duress alarm can also be activated during Disarm state.
● Any User code used to activate Duress alarm will be reported to CMS if enabled.
● A previously armed system would not Disarm if an illegal Duress code is entered. You may have
up to 20 tries of continual key entry of the correct 4-digit Duress code before the keypad goes into
a lock-out period of 10 seconds.
