Information
Duress code is used to Disarm the system and transmit an emergency signal to your Central
Monitoring Station discreetly to indicate there is a duress situation. This is important if you are
being forced to Disarm your system against your will.
Duress alarm can also be activated during Disarm state.
Any User code used to activate Duress alarm will be reported to CMS if enabled.
A previously armed system would not Disarm if an illegal Duress code is entered. You may have
up to 20 tries of continual key entry of the correct 4-digit Duress code before the keypad goes into
a lock-out period of 10 seconds.
