Checking the Airow
1. Make sure there are no objects to obstruct airow in and out of the server.
2. Use only recommended server parts.
3. Make sure no wires or foreign objects obstruct air ow through the chassis. Pull
all excess cabling out of the airow path, or use shorter cables.
4. The control panel LEDs inform you of system status. See “Chapter 3: System
Interface” for details.
6-7 Power Supply
The SC505 chassis includes a single 200 watt power supply. This power supply has
an auto-switching capability, which enables it to automatically sense and operate
at a 100V - 240V input voltage.
If the power supply unit fails, the system will shut down and you must replace the
unit. Replacement units can be ordered directly from Supermicro..
