2.4 Chassis Components

Note: Enterprise level hard disk drives are recommended for use in Supermicro chassis and

Installing the Drive
The motherboard should be installed before installing the drives.
1. Remove the system power as described in section 2.1 and remove the chassis cover.
2. Remove the two screws that secure the drive cage to the chassis, as shown.
