is available from Supermicro (optional). A TPM/Port 80 connector is a security device that
supports encryption and authentication in hard drives. It allows the motherboard to deny
access if the TPM associated with the hard drive is not installed in the system. Please go

4.2 Headers and Connectors
Fan Headers
A 4-pin fan header (FAN3) is used for your system cooling fan. Fan speed control is supported
by Thermal Management via the BMC 2.0 interface.
CPLD Header
A CPLD header is at JCPLD1 on the motherboard. This header supports a Complex
Programmable Logic device (CPLD) for system rmware enhancement.
SATA 3.0 Ports 0~7/8~11
Two SATA 3.0 headers, located at (SATA1/SATA2), supports 12 SATA 3.0 connections
(SATA 0~7 and SATA 8~11). These SATA 3.0 ports are supported by the Intel C741 chipset.
Connecting proper SATA cables to SATA1 and SATA2 to use SATA 3.0 connections.
AIOM PCIe 5.0 x16 Slot (JAIOM)
