Micro-LP Card/Micro-LP Slot Setup
The SC827 chassis includes expansion slots for Micro-LP cards. Each serverboard
node supports one low profi le/half length Micro-LP card for a total of four per chassis,
one per drawer.
Note: the Micro-LP cards should already be installed in the motherboad drawers of
the chassis and do not need replacement unless the motherboard needs replacing.
Installing Micro-LP Cards
1. Disconnect the power supply, lay the chassis on a fl at surface, and open the
motherboard drawer.
2. Firmly but gently connect the Micro-LP card vertically into the motherboard's
Micro-LP card slot.
3. Replace the motherboard drawer back into the chassis and reconnect the
power supply.
