Port 0~Port 5 Hot Plug
Select Enabled to enable hot-plug support for a port speci ed by the user so
that the user is allowed to change a hardware component or a device without
shutting down the system. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
Staggered Spin-up
Select Enabled to enable Staggered Spin-up support to prevent excessive
power consumption caused by multiple HDDs spinning-up simultaneously.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
RAID Mode
The following items are displayed when RAID Mode is selected:
PCH RAID CodeBase
Set this item to Intel or LSI to specify the codebase to be used for RAID
support. The options are Intel and LSI.
Port 0~5 Hot Plug
Select Enabled to enable hot-plug support for a port speci ed by the user.
The options are Enabled and Disabled.
SAS Con guration
If a SAS port is detected in the system, the following items will be displayed.
SCU Devices
Select Enabled to enable support for PCH SCU (System Con guration Utility)
devices. The options are Disabled and Enabled.
OnChip SAS Oprom
Select Enabled to support the onboard SAS Option ROM to boot up the system via
a storage device if a SAS device is installed.The options are Disabled and Enabled.
SCU Port 0~7
The SCU devies detected by the BIOS will be displayed.
