Press-fit 2nd drive gear onto the counter shaft. Before
reassembling, coat the internal face of the 2nd drive gear
with Thread Lock super “1303B”and install it so that the
length as shown in Fig.

The procedure may be performed only twice before
shaft replacement is required.
GEAR SHIFITNG HUB AND FORKS
Countershaft length : 87.8-88.1 mm
Fit the gear shifting hub on the crankcase.
Position the hub as shown in Fig. so that the gear shifting
forks can be installed easily.
