1E-7 Engine Lubrication System:
3) Remove the oil pump drive gear (1) with holding the
oil pump driven gear (2) using the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09930–40113 (Rotor holder)
4) Remove the pin (3).
5) Remove the snap ring (4) and oil pump driven gear.
Special tool
: 09900–06107 (Snap ring pliers)
6) Remove the pin (5), washer (6) and oil pump (7).
7) Remove the dowel pins.
Installation
Install the oil pump and oil pump drive gear in the
reverse order of removal. Pay attention to the following
points:
NOTE
Be careful not to drop the parts into the
crankcase.
• Install the oil pump driven gear (1) as shown.
• Install the new snap ring (2).
CAUTION
!
Never reuse the removed snap ring.
