Assembly
Assemble the final drive in the reverse order of
disassembly. Pay attention to the following points:
CAUTION
!
The removed oil seals, O-rings and bearings
must be replaced with new ones.
• Install the bearings into the final gear case and case
cover with the special tool.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
• Install the spacer and bearing onto the shaft using a
hydraulic.
CAUTION
!
The removed bearing must be replaced with a
new one.
• Install new oil seals into the gear case and case cover
with the special tool.
• Apply gear oil to the new oil seal lips.
Special tool
(A): 09913–70210 (Bearing installer set)
• Place the washer (1) and shim(-s) (2) on the gear
case bearing (LH), then install the final drive gear (3)
and shim(-s) (4).
