5A-9 Automatic Transmission:
Movable Drive Face
• Install the movable drive face assembly (1).
CAUTION
!
Degrease the movable drive face assembly
(1). Use nonflammable cleaning solvent to
wipe off oily or greasy matter and make its
surfaces completely dry.
• Tighten the movable drive face nut to the specified
torque with the special tool.
Tightening torque
Movable drive face nut (a): 115 N·m (11.5 kgf-m,
83.0 lb-ft)
Special tool
(A): 09930–40113 (Rotor holder)
• Tighten the movable driven face nut to the specified
torque with the special tool.
Tightening torque
Movable driven face nut (a): 115 N·m (11.5 kgf-
m, 83.0 lb-ft)
Special tool
(A): 09930–40113 (Rotor holder)
NOTE
Turn the fixed drive face until the belt is
seated in and driven faces will move together
smoothly without slip.
V-belt Outer Cover
• Install the dowel pins and new gasket (1).
CAUTION
!
Replace the removed gasket with a new one.
• Install the brake pedal. Refer to “Rear Brake Pedal
Removal and Installation in Section 4A (Page 4A-12)”.
