5C-9 Clutch:
2) Remove the snap ring (1) with the special tool.

NOTE
If there is no abnormal noise, the bearing
removal is not necessary.
3) Remove the bearing with the special tool.

Assembly
Assembly is in the reverse order of disassembly. Pay
attention to the following points:
• Install the bearing with the special tool.

• Install the snap ring with the special tool.

: 09900–06108 (Snap ring pliers)
CAUTION
!
Removed snap ring must be replaced with a
new one.
• Fit the adjusting screw as shown.
• Tighten the lock-nuts temporarily.
• Adjust the clutch release roller after installing the
clutch cover to the engine. Refer to “Clutch Removal
and Installation (LT-F400/F) (Page 5C-3)”.
