access the contacts on the electric power
supply and control cables.
• Screw in the cooker hood's fixing screws
a few turns to hold them in place at their
locations in the cooker hood.
• Insert the electric power supply and control
cables into the cooker hood. Lift up the
cooker hood against the ventilation unit
so that the outlet spigot of the cooker
hood meets the duct connection in the
bottom of the ventilation unit. Check that
no cables will become caught between the
ventilation unit and the cooker hood.
• Fasten the cooker hoood under the ven-
tilation unit using four screws and fit the
cover plugs in the screw holes.
• Connect the electric power supply and con-
trol cables and secure the protective plate
onto the equipment cubicle with screws.

• Finally connect the cooker hood's plug to
the electric wall outlet.
3.4 Jazz
The Swegon CASA Jazz cooker hood is
designed for installation directly against an R3
or R85 ventilation unit, and in this case the
extract air duct should be connected directly
to the duct connection on the bottom of the
ventilation unit. The cooker hood is available
in a right-hand or left-hand version depending
on the ventilation unit's model.
The electric power supply and control cables
are situated under the cover plate in the bot-
tom of the ventilation unit. The cooker hood
can be secured to the ventilation unit using
the screws supplied.
Jazz cooker hood can also be installed under the
a kitchen cabinets with screws (included) and
power cord (accessory, 613515). Cooker hood
can also be installed between the kitchen cabin-
ets with mounting kit (accessory, 613515).
Installation against ventilation unit
• Prepare the ventilation unit for installation
by following the installation instructions
for the ventilation unit.
• Remove the protective plate on the cooker
hood's equipment cubicle to enable you to
