An interface can be addressed by opening the interface directory.
/if/<if-name> {<option>}
e.g..
/if/can0↵
or also
cd /if/<if-name>

After an interface has been created, the current settings can be queried
by entering the command interface name + number.
e.g.
/if/can0↵
