4.2.4 CAN Interface
A CAN interface is generated by
mkif can 0
with the interface number 0. The directory name is selected
automatically and is
/if/can0 for the first interface. Only one CAN
interface can be active.
Possible Options:
<option> ::={<switch>|<bauidx>|<canid>|<busid>|<bufid>}
<switch> ::= {on | off}
on initializes the CAN driver
off switches off the CAN driver (default)
<baudidx> ::= baud:<num>
sets the transfer rate corresponding to the baudrate index
according to CiA DSP305
3
0 = 1 MBit/s (default)
1 = 800 kBit/s
2 = 500 kBit/s
3 = 250 kBit/s
4 = 125 kBit/s
5 = 100 kBit/s
6 = 50 kBit/s
7 = 20 kBit/s
8 = 10 kBit/s
<canid> ::=canid:<hex>
Sets the CAN identifier <hex>, which is used when error
messages are sent (default: 0xfe).
Value range: 0<=
hex <= 7FF
