Chapter 9 Troubleshooting
Error messages for the LAS and their causes/corrective actions are as follows (listed in the order of error
code).
See the CS-5100 Instructions for Use “Chapter 7 Troubleshooting” for any other errors that are not
explained in this manual.
9.1 Causes of errors and corrective actions
The following errors may appear in the [Error Help] dialog box.
23017 Required settings for LAS measurement are not checked.
Probable
cause
[Automatic Order inquiry] and [Connected to Host Computer] are not checked.
Corrective
action
Check if [Automatic Order inquiry] and [Connected to Host Computer] are checked in System
Settings dialog.
24001 TCP/IP Connection Error with LAS
24002 LAS Transmission Error(SB)
24003 LAS Transmission Error(EB)
24004 LAS ACK Time Out
24005 LAS Communication Error
Probable
cause
1) The connection setting is not suitable for LAS.
2) The connection cable is disconnected from LAS.
Corrective
action
Check the connection with LAS and its connector.
24006 LAS command error
Probable
cause
LAS sent a wrong command.
Corrective
action
Check the LAS status.
24007 Sample with no order arrived at aspiration position(LAS)
Probable
cause
LAS sent Sample Aspiration Start Request command without sending Sample ID Notification
command.
Corrective
action
Check the LAS status.
