Move
Lines

Moves all lines
within
the
range line1 to line2 to a position
immediately preceding
line3. linel becomes
the
current
line.
Use
the
Move
command to
move
a block of lines from one place
in
the
file to another.

you
omit
the
line1
parameter
or
the
line2
parameter,
EDLIN
uses
the
current
line.
EDLIN
renumbers
the
lines according to
the
direction of
the
move. For example:

to Line 100.
If
the
line numbers overlap,
EDLIN
displays
the
message
