The source (.exe) file contains information which indicates
that
a
load segment is required
for
the
file. Specify
the
absolute seg-
ment address
at
which
the
finished module is to be located.
Has
invalid
cluster,
file
truncated
The file contains
an
invalid pointer to
the
data
area. CHKDSK
corrects
this
error automatically by
truncating
the
file to
the
last
valid
data
block.
Incompatible
system
size
The hidden system files
do
not
take
up
the
same amount of space
on
the
target
disk
as
the
new system requires.
Incorrect
DOS
version
Many Version 2.x and 3.x utilities cannot
run
on
earlier versions
of MS-DOS. Some utilities
run
only under
the
exact version of
MS-DOS
for
which they were configured.
Insufficient
memory
There is not enough available memory to
run
the
command.
If
you can eliminate some files from memory,
try
again.
Insufficient
room
in
root
dlrectory
Erase
files
in
root
and
repeat
CHKDSK
The command cannot process
until
you delete files
in
the
root
directory.
Insufficient
disk
space
The diskette
in
the
specified drive does not have sufficient room
to complete
the
operation. Replace
the
diskette
with
one having
the
required storage space.
