7. Smartphone Call Recording:
Plug
the
female
red
and
green
adapter
into
the
microphone
port
of
the
DeciVibe.
Use
the
male
aux
cable
to
connect
the
headphone
port
on
your
phone
to
the
green
port
of
the
adapter,
and
plug
the
lapel
mic
into
the
red
port
of
the
adapter
to
record
your voice.
Next
plug
the
earbuds
into
the
right side
of
the
DeciVibe
(See
pg
15).
In
the
Record From settings
select
Microphone
(See
pg
7).
And
in
the
Monitor
Setting
select
On
(See
pg
8).
(Both
of
these settings
are
set like this
already
by
default.)
You'll
want
to
keep
noise
cancellation
off
and
adjust
the
volume
on
your
phone
itself
until
both
voices
are
equal, in your
earbuds
you will
be
able
to
hear
how
it's
going
to
sound
to
equalize their
voice
and
your
voice
volume
perfectly. (You
can
also test
the
volume
levels prior
to
a
call
by
playing
a
podcast
or
other
audio
from
your
phone
while testing.)
To
record
your call, simply press [REC]
after
a
call
comes
in,
and
after
you
hang
up.
For
recording
voicemail
messages,
begin
to
play
them
on
your phone, press [REC]
and
then
press
once
you're
finished. You
can
also
record
any
other
type
of
audio
from
your
phone
with
the
adapter
connected
like
this.
