8. Troubleshooting Recordings
My
DeciVibe
is
picking up other
sounds
in
the room during my landline/
smartphone call.
This
is
normal
to
a
certain
extent
due
to
the
fact
that
anywhere
you
are
making
a
call
from, your
phone
will always
pick
up
some
background
noise regardless
whether
you
have
it
connected
to
a
recorder
or not. But if you
enable
Noise
Cancellation
and
you
still
have
trouble
with
background
noises
being
far
too
magnified
then
this
indicates
a
compatibility
issue
where
the
motherboard
in your
phone
is
only allowing partial
access
or
the
headphone
port
is
not
completely
sealing
the
signal
to
the
DeciVibe, in essence, revoking full access. If this happens,
please return
it
for free for a full refund within
90
days.
I
am
experiencing static/clicking
noises
during my smartphone call.
Please
check

16 for instructions
on
how
to
test
the
3
different
adapter
setups.
If
none
of
these
three
ways
work
successfully
to
eliminate static, please
contact
us
in
case
one
of
the
cables
you
received
may
need
to
be
replaced.
