Secondary Ways of Setting Up the Smartphone Adapter:
If it is not recording your voice or your caller's voice correctly or you are
experiencing high levels of static, try reversing the adapter setup exactly the
opposite. Plug the female red and green adapter into the smartphone, then use
the male aux cable to connect the red port of that into the microphone port of
the DeciVibe, and plug the earbuds into the green port. (See pg 17). See if your
phone responds to this adapter setup better.
If not, the last resort is to avoid using the female red and green adapter entirely
and try plugging the male aux cable, straight from the headphone port of your
smartphone into the microphone port of the DeciVibe, while plugging your
earbuds into the right side of the DeciVibe, and see if your smartphone
motherboard responds better to that.
If neither of the three setups work for your smartphone it is possible that this
indicates either that there is a compatibility issue where your phone
motherboard is revoking full access to these adapters or your headphone port is
not allowing a complete seal to the adapter from slight rust due to moisture or
possible misalignment from having been dropped. Both things can prevent a
complete seal, in which case you may need to return your DeciVibe to us for a
full refund.
