Playing a Disc
All of the examples on pages 11-24 refer to a disc which
contains 7 tracks and a total playing time of 49 minutes and 58.3
seconds, as shown on page 12. Track 3 is divided into five
indexes.

Press the power switch to turn the unit on

When the power is turned on, the display panel illuminates as
shown below:

Push the cover down by hand to close it.
After you insert the disc and close the cover, the disc begins to
rotate. After the total number of tracks and total playing time are
displayed, the player switches to the stop mode.
After about 5 seconds or after the disc compartment has been
opened, the display panel shows the following:
*If a disc has more than 20 tracks, the overflow indicator (e)
illuminates. When the 2lst track is played, the werffow
indicator (>) flashes on and off.

Press the open button to open the disc
compartment.

The play indicator on the control panel illuminates and play

When a disc having no indexes is
played. ” ! ” is constantly displayed in
the index sBc,io”,
*If the play button is pressed during disc play, disc play is
started again from the first track (Auto-return play function).
