Time mode display function
(During play or In the pause mode.)

Press the time mode select button.
*The appropriate time mode indicators illuminate to show which
lime mode display has been selected.
*Pressing the elapsed/remain button changes the mode from
elapsed time to remaining time or vice versa.
*Pressing the trackltotal button changes the mode from track
time to total (disc or programmed) lime or vice versa.
*When changing the time display mode. use the time mode
indicators to confirm selection of the desired time display
mode.

For exampfe, it the time mode select button is pressed when playlng a disc of 49 mfn. 58.3 s. at a point 2 min. to s. after the
beginning of track 5:

*During program play, the total elapsed
programmed playing time is displayed.

Notes:
*During access play, skip play and search play, the total time
from the beginning of the first track is displayed in mode 0.
(This is not the actual elapsed playing time.)

Tracks skipped during program play are not included in the
elapsed playing time.
*In the following cases. the time display shows ā- - : -ā:
1. When a track number higher than 20 is played (in time mode
@ only).
2. When a track number higher than 20 is programmed (in time
mode @,).
3. When tha programmed play time is more than 99 minutes (in
time mode @). (For example, when one 20-minute track is
programmed to play six times, the total playing time of the
program is 120 minutes.)
