shooting procedures are very general, in that they don't
lead the troubleshooter directly to a specific component or
components that may
be
faulty. In those cases, it is up to
the troubleshooter to analyze the information obtained
from the tests made to determine the actual fault. Figure
6-6 is a flow chart that shows the initial troubleshooting
steps as an aid in determining where to start.
Maintenance-2430 Service
These troubleshooting procedures are broken down into
several types. The 2430 Troubleshooting Procedures of
Table 6-6 provide a description of the tests made and, in
many cases, the troubleshooting procedure used in case
of a test failure. Video Option troubleshooting procedures
are given in Table 6-7. Other areas of the 2430 require
more extensive troubleshooting trees. These areas are:
the Low Voltage Power Supply, the Display System, and
