1.1. Installation
Connect the telephone line to the screw
terminals marked “Tel.” After connecting
the telephone line, the device will be set-up
automatically. During this process, the device
will produce a high-pitched tone for several
seconds.
Wire the relay to hold the open door function.
Telephone line, analogue main line or extension of a telephone system
Relay; relay switch power: max. 60 VA/24 W: 0.5A, 120V~/1A, 24V=
(potential-free output circuits), usually the closing contact used to switch a door opener
Additional power supply; potential-free voltage, e.g. from a Behnke power supply unit
(20-9585, 20-9575)
Direct call buttons 1 and 2
Connect the additional 15V power supply,
if necessary. An additional power supply is
not necessary to use the basic functions;
only extra features (e.g. illuminated labels,
additional amplifiers or recorded messages)
require an additional power supply.
