Connection to an existing doorbell
By easily connecting your Behnke Series 5
Intercom station to your existing (potential-free)
doorbell (if it meets the technical specifications,
see “2.2. Technical Specifications" on page
42 > "Tested according to: ..."), you get to use
all of the intercom’s features. The electronic
equipment will be installed inside your letterbox
or on the wall inside the house (1 m max. cable
length; cables of the included components,
such as speaker, microphone, and call button,
are of the same length). Microphone and
speaker will also be detached and will be put
directly into your letterbox.
