RS423A
You can option each sensor independently in order to support RS423A input levels.
There are two option straps per sensor that need to be moved, as shown in the NET-
PATH Contact Sensor Options Strap Locations, page 2-8. Once a sensor is strapped
for RS423A logic, it will no longer support dry contact input or wet input levels that
are described above. The attached sensor must provide -5.0 to -0.3 VDC for the active
state and +0.3 to +15.0 VDC for the inactive state. Values outside this range will
produce indeterminate results.

Note Ground is common for all sensors but individual
sensor grounds must be maintained to provide surge
protection for each sensor circuit.
