Home Gateway Unit (HGU).
The ONT can work under the following modes:
HGU
When the ONT type is HGU, the access modes include bridge mode and router mode.
Bridge mode: The channel mode is set to Bridged. To access the internet, you can set
up an internet connection (PPPoE, DHCP or static IP) on a computer or router
connected to the ONT.
Router mode: The channel mode is set to IPoE or PPPoE. To access the internet, you
can set up WAN connections on the ONT.
SFU
When the ONT type is SFU, it is recommended to keep the default configurations of the ONT.
