Scenario 2: SFU ONT
When the device type is SFU, you can keep the default configurations of the ONT.
Procedure:
Step 1
Connect the WAN port of the router to a LAN port of the ONT using an Ethernet cable and
connect the PON port of the ONT to the optical fiber.
Step 2
Register the ONT on the OLT.
Step 3
Refer to the quick installation guide or user guide of your router to configure the internet
access.

After the configuration is completed, you can access the internet through the router.
If you use the Ethernet cable to connect the LAN port of the ONT to the computer without the router,
you can refer to configure internet access on a computer (Skip step 1) to configure the computer to
dial-up.
