10.4.3 Reset the ONT
When the ONT malfunctions and you cannot find a solution, you can try to reset the ONT. If your
ISP has preset the ONT, the ONT will be restored to the configurations preset by the ISP. Otherwise,
the ONT will be restored to factory settings.
Resetting the ONT will clear all previous personalized configurations. It is recommended to back up the
configuration of the ONT in advance.
Procedure:
Step 1
Log in to the web UI of the ONT.
Step 2
Navigate to Admin > Admin > Backup/Restore.
Step 3
Click Reset.
The ONT starts rebooting. Wait until it finishes rebooting, and then you can log in to the
ONT again and perform settings.
