Chapter 63 TRANSMISSION
— Detailed Visual Inspection
1. Transmission 212-040-001-115, -119, -123, and -127 —
remove internal filter and sump chip detector. Visually inspect
filter element and detector for metallic chips, particles, and
contamination. If contamination or debris is found, investigate to
determine cause. Thoroughly clean and reinstall detector and
filter. Service transmission oil system (Chapter 12) to proper
level.
NOTE
Accomplish each 50 hours of component operation.
