8 Sensors and power supply
8.1 Sensors and power supply
Warning Electrical voltage!
The connection terminals are powered and can cause life hazards due
to electrical shock. All power supplies must be disconnected before
electrical installation can commence.
Caution The electrical installation must be carried out using permanently rout-
ed cables and must follow applicable local and national regulations.
Isolate the power supply using an all-pole circuit breaker with a mini-
mum contact gap of 3 mm. (The maximum load for externally connec-
ted units is 2A).
Check that cabling will not be subject to wear, corrosion, excessive pressure, vibration, sharp edges or any other adverse environmental
effects. Also take into account the effects of aging or continual vibration from sources such as compressors or fans. The wiring shall be
installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.
Athena 400V outdoor unit complies with IEC 61000-3-12 without conditional connection.

Make sure that all grommets are in place at the top of the indoor unit and the electri-
cal cabinet, regardless of which ones are in use. This to ensure a tight seal of the en-
closures and to meet the IP rating requirements.
