12 Check list
12.1 Checking the piping installation
Before filling the heating system, check the piping installation according to the checklist below.
Piping checklist Yes No
Are the pipe connections in accordance with the connection diagram?
If flexible hoses are used, are they installed on the supply and return lines on the outdoor unit?
Is the strainer on return line mounted? See figure 1
Is an expansion vessel installed?
Is a valve-pipe with safety valve and manometer installed?
Is a volume tank installed?
Is a filler cock with non-return valve heating system installed?

If the amount of water in the heating system is not sufficient, alarms
may occur.

12.1.1 Check list before commissioning the unit
Caution Before commissioning the unit, make sure to check the following
points :
The operating range of leaving water temperature is 20~65˚C at heating conditions and 12~37˚C at cooling* conditions.
Do not operate the system with closed valves because it results in damaging the heat pump.
* Cooling only applies to Athena HC models. Athena HC is only available in certain markets.
