Procedure for replacement of activated charcoal filters
1. Dismantle the cover from the filter box.
2. The charcoal cylinders are fastened with bayonet sockets. Place the special bag over one of
the cartridges. Turn the cartridges clockwise and remove it from the frame. Proceed as
above until all activated charcoal filters have been removed.
3. Install the new charcoal filter cartridges in the filter box.
4. Reinstall the cover.
5. Rinse all tools used. Protective cloth and filter for filter masks are to be placed in a bag for
toxic waste.
11.4. Fuses
The fuses of SAFE 2010/MaxiSAFE 2010 are located in the right side of the top of the cabinet. In
cabinets produced subsequent to August 1999 an additional 2 fuses are located under the
protective cover above the electromechanical panel. These 2 fuses secure zero to light and UV
light. The remaining fuses on the Controller board PCB secure:
