Assembly instructions
Raise the seat up to its maximum height
4
(max. SH)
Depending on the size of your Scylon and the type of
seat used, raise the seat height (uncut TransLink seat
tube!) using the same method as before (distance
between the bottom bracket and the seat recess).
Note the raised dimension:
(for example in our case
4
: 800 mm).
Min. seat height:
XXS: 640 / XS: 655 / S: 685 / M: 705
L: 735 / XL: 755

Determine the cutting dimension:
- Remove the maximum seat height from the desired
dimension (in our example:
800 mm
4
– 758 mm
2
= 42 mm
5
).
Cut the seat tube:
- Remove the seat and seat post assembly from the
frame.
- Position the cutting tool
6
on the seat tube ( ref:
55008073).
- Set the cutting dimension
5
relative to the upper
support of the tool by directly carrying over the
calculated dimension (in our example 42 mm ) then
tighten
7
.
- Cut the tube taking care not to deviate (use a
hacksaw blade in good condition)
8
.
- Remove the cutting tool
6
and clean the burrs and
sawdust.
