5. SOFTWARE INSTALLATION
Youmaynowreapplypowertothemillandpoweron
yourcomputer.MakesurethattheUSBcabletotheATC
controllerisunpluggedforthenextsteps.
TheATCsowareinstallaonwilldeletethecontentsof
thePCNC3folderonyourCdrivebeforeinstallingthenew
soware.IfyouhavesavedpersonallesinthePCNC3
folder,copytheselestoafolderonyourdesktopbefore
youinstallthenewsoware.
TobegintheATCsowareinstallaon,makesure
thatMach3isshutdown,andinserttheCDintothe
computer’sCDdrive.Amenuwilldisplaychoicesfor1100
SeriesIIand1100Series3millingmachines.Choosethe
appropriatesowareforyourmachine.Thesoware
installaonshouldpreserveyourtooltable,xture
osets,andMachlicensele.Itwill,however,deleteany
changesyouhavemade(probepolarity,jogincrements,
NewFangledWizardlicensele).Ifyoupreviously
customizedyourversionofMach3usingPCNCCongyou
willneedtorepeatthesecustomizaonsaerinstallingthe
newsoware.

