doanymaintenance.
CheckingtheEngine-OilLevel
Beforeyoustarttheengineandusethemachine,
checktheoillevelintheenginecrankcase;referto
ServicingtheEngineOil(page53).
CheckingtheCoolingSystem
ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily
Checklevelofcoolantatthebeginningofeach
day.Capacityofsystemis8.52liters(9qts)forthe
Groundsmaster4100and20liters(14.5qts)forthe
Groundsmaster4110.
1.Carefullyremovetheradiatorcapandexpansion
tankcap(Figure12).
CAUTION
Iftheenginehasbeenrunning,the
pressurized,hotcoolantcanescapeand
causeburns.
•Donotopentheradiatorcapwhenthe
engineisrunning.
•Usearagwhenopeningtheradiator
cap,andopenthecapslowlytoallow
steamtoescape.
2.Checkthecoolantlevelintheradiator.The
radiatorshouldbelledtothetopoftheller
neckandtheexpansiontanklledtotheFull
mark.
