Cuttingunitpitchisthedifferenceinheight-of-cutfrom
thefrontofthebladeplanetothebackoftheblade
plane.T ororecommendsabladepitchof8to11mm
(5/16to7/16inch).Thatisthebackofthebladeplane
is8to11mm(5/16to7/16inch)higherthanthefront.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurfaceonthe
shopoor.
2.Setthecuttingunittothedesiredheight-of-cut.
3.Rotate1bladesothatitpointsstraightforward.
4.Usingashortruler,measurefromtheoorto
thefronttipoftheblade.Rotatethebladetipto
therearandmeasurefromtheoortothetip
oftheblade.
5.Subtractthefrontdimensionfromtherear
dimensiontocalculatethebladepitch.

1.Loosenthejamnutsonthetoporbottomofthe
height-of-cutchainU-bolt(Figure105).
2.Adjusttheothersetofnutstoraiseorlowerthe
rearofthecuttingunitandattainthecorrect
cuttingunitpitch.
3.Tightenthejamnuts.
