Removedebrisfromtheoilradiator/oilcooler
daily.Cleanthemmorefrequentlyindirtyconditions.
Thismachineisequippedwithahydraulicallydriven
fandrivesystemthatautomatically(ormanually)
reversestoreduceradiator/oilcoolerandscreen
debrisbuild-up.Whilethisfeaturecanhelpreduce
thetimerequiredtocleanradiator/oilcooler,itdoes
noteliminatetheneedforroutinecleaning.Periodic
cleaningandinspectionoftheradiator/oilcooleris
stillrequired.
1.Turntheengineoffandraisethehood.Clean
theengineareathoroughlyofalldebris.
2.Cleanbothsidesoftheradiator/oilcoolerarea
(Figure93)thoroughlywithcompressedair.
Startfromthefansideandblowthedebris
outtowardstheback.Thencleanfromthe
backsideandblowtowardsthefront.Repeat
procedureseveraltimesuntilallchaffanddebris
isremoved.
Important:Cleaningtheradiator/oilcooler
withwatercanpromoteprematurecorrosion
anddamagetocomponents.

Brakes
Adjusttheservicebrakeswhenthereismorethan
25mm(1inch)of“freetravel”ofthebrakepedal,or
whenthebrakesdonotworkeffectively.Freetravel
isthedistancethebrakepedalmovesbeforebraking
resistanceisfelt.
1.Disengagethelockinglatchfromthebrake
pedalssothatbothpedalsworkindependently
ofeachother.
2.Toreducefreetravelofthebrakepedals,tighten
thebrakes:
