CalibratingtheSpreader
Calibratethespreadereachtimeyouuseanew
material.Thespreaderbroadcastsmaterialina
pattern1.5to6.7m(5to22ft)widedependingonthe
materialparticlesize,volume/density,rateoftravel,
andwindconditions.
UsetheSpreadingCharts(page30)alongwith
informationfromDeterminingtheDistributionPattern
(page25),DeterminingtheEffectiveSpreadingWidth
(page25),andCalculatingtheApplicationRate(page
26)whencalibratingthespreader.
