DrivingtheSprayer
StartingtheEngine
1.SitintheOperator’sseat,insertthekeyintothe
ignitionswitch,androtatethekeyclockwisetothe
Runposition.
2.Pressthebrakeandmovetherangeselectortothe
Neutralposition.
3.EnsurethatthepumpswitchisintheOffposition.
4.Iftheengineiscold,pullthechokeknobup.
Important:Donotusethechokeiftheengine
iswarm.
5.TurnthekeytotheStartpositionuntiltheengine
starts.
Important:DonotholdthekeyintheStart
positionformorethan10seconds.Iftheengine
hasnotstartedafter10seconds,wait1minute
beforetryingagain.Donotattempttopushor
towthesprayertostarttheengine.
6.Oncetheenginestarts,pushthechokeknobdown
slowly.
Driving
1.Pressthebrakepedal.
2.Pushtheparkingbrakeleverforwardtoreleaseit.
3.Movetherangeselectorintothedesiredrange.
4.Presstheacceleratorpedaltodriveorpressthe
braketostop.
Note:Stoppingdistancemayvarydependingon
thesprayerloadandspeed.
SettingtheSpeedLimiter
1.Pressdownontheacceleratorpedaltoobtainthe
desiredspeed.
2.Pressthebuttonontopofthespeedlimiter
knobandpulluponituntilyoufeelittouch
theacceleratorpedal,thenreleasethebutton
(Figure22).

4.Onceyouhaveitset,youcanlockitatthatsetting
byturningthelockingringatthebaseofthespeed
limiterclockwiseuntilitstops(Figure22).To
releasethislock,turnthelockingringcounter
clockwiseuntilitisloose.
5.Toreleasethespeedlimiter,pressthebuttononthe
knobandloweritasfaraspossible.
StoppingtheEngine
1.Pressthebraketostopthesprayer.
2.Pulltheparkingbrakeleverupandbacktosetit.
3.MovetherangeselectoroutofgearintotheNeutral
position.
4.TurntheignitionkeytotheStopposition.
5.Removethekeyfromtheswitchtoprevent
accidentalstarting.
NewSprayerBreak-In
Toprovideproperperformanceandlongsprayerlife,
followtheseguidelinesfortherst100operatinghours:
Checktheuidandengineoillevelsregularly
andbealertforindicationsofoverheatinginany
componentofthesprayer.
Afterstartingacoldengine,letitwarmupforabout
15secondsbeforeaccelerating.
Avoidhardbrakingsituationsfortherstseveral
hoursofnewsprayerbreak-inoperation.New
brakeliningsmaynotbeatoptimumperformance
untilseveralhoursofusehascausedthebrakesto
becomeburnished(broken-in).
Avoidracingtheengine.
