Important:Ensurethatthechemicalsyouwill
beusingarecompatibleforusewithViton(see
themanufacturer’slabel;itshouldindicateifit
isnotcompatible).Usingachemicalthatisnot
compatiblewithVitonwilldegradetheO-ringsin
thesprayer,causingleaks.
Important:Verifythattheproperapplicationrate
hasbeensetpriortollingthetankwithchemicals.
1.Stopthesprayeronalevelsurface,movetherange
selectortotheNeutralposition,stoptheengine,
andsettheparkingbrake.
2.Ensurethatthetankdrainvalveisclosed.
3.Determinetheamountofwaterneededtomixthe
amountofchemicalyouneedasprescribedbythe
chemicalmanufacturer.
4.Openthetankcoveronthespraytank.
Thetankcoverislocatedinthecenterofthetopof
thetank(Figure24).Toopenit,turnthefronthalf
ofthecovercounterclockwiseandswingitopen.
Youcanremovethestrainerinsideforcleaning.To
sealthetank,closethecoverandrotatethefront
halfclockwise.

6.Starttheengine,presstheacceleratorpedaltothe
oor,andsettheneutralenginespeedlocktothe
Onposition.
7.SetthepumpswitchtotheOnposition.
8.SetthemasterboomswitchtotheOffposition.
TheSprayPromonitorwilldisplay“HOLD”.
9.Turntheagitationcontrolvalvetothe9o’clock
positiontostartagitationinthetank.
10.Addtheproperamountofchemicalconcentrateto
thetank,asdirectedbythechemicalmanufacturer.
Important:Ifyouareusingawettablepowder,
mixthepowderwithasmallamountofwaterto
formaslurrybeforeaddingittothetank
11.Addtheremainingwatertothetank.

Note:Forthefollowingsectiontoapply,youmust
obtainandinstallaboomkitandnozzles.Contact
yourAuthorizedToroDistributorforinformationon
theavailableboomkitsandaccessories.Afteryou
installyourboomsandnozzlesandbeforeusingthe
sprayerforthersttime,adjusttheboombypassvalves
sothatthepressureandapplicationrateremainsthe
sameforallboomswhenyouturnoneormorebooms
off.RefertoAdjustingtheBoomBypassValves.
