17. Remove the key from the engine crankshaft (Fig.
234).

19. With a hoist raise the engine approximately 6” above
the frame (Fig. 236).

18. Remove the 4 engine bolts and Belleville washers
retaining the engine to the frame (Fig. 235).

20. Remove the starter motor bolt at the top of the
starter, then remove the battery ground wire and the
wiring harness ground wire (Fig. 237).
